** IRAN DAILY

- Message of drill: Stable security for Iran, region

Iran's top general Mohammad Hossein Baqeri praised the accomplishments of a large-scale drill held in Iran’s central province of Isfahan on Monday, on the sidelines of the second day of the exercise as the Iranian Air Force’s bomber and kamikaze drones successfully hit and destroyed mock enemy targets. The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces commended the Air Force units for achieving the primary objectives of the war game, underscoring how Iran’s military readiness serves as a deterrent against hostile actions from adversaries. He also lauded the Air Force for their diverse operations and tactical maneuvers, which involved drones, fighter jets, transport and logistical aircraft, as well as air ambulances.

- Iran disbands terrorist network linked to Israel

Iran’s Intelligence Ministry said its forces have disbanded a “large terrorist network” and arrested its members who were planning to carry out numerous terrorist attacks across Iran. In a statement on Monday, the ministry said the terrorists were connected via “terrorist circles in Denmark and the Netherlands” to the Israeli spy agency, Iran Front Page reported. The terrorists planned to carry out attacks in the month of Muharram — during which millions of Iranians hold public mourning ceremonies for the third Shia Imam — but were arrested before “entering [their] extensive… operational phase.”

- Raisi: Iran supports Yerevan-Baku peace talks

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said Tehran supports peace negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan amid a territorial dispute between Iran’s two neighbors. Raisi made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Tehran on Monday. The Iranian president said that the problems in the region should be settled by the regional countries, stressing that foreign interference only complicates the problems.

- Exclusive: Secret audiotape reveals the true colors of Rob Malley

The former U.S. envoy for Iran, Rob Malley, has sought to revive the 2015 nuclear deal only to increase pressure on Iran over other issues, according to an audiotape obtained by the Tehran Times.  The track record of Malley in implementing the Biden administration’s Iran policy has been subject to diametrically opposed assessments. And this continued up until his mysterious dismissal amid an FBI-led investigation of his handling of the Iran file.

- Iran breaks up large terrorist group linked to Israel

A number of terrorists have been arrested in several Iranian provinces and at least 43 bombs have been discovered from them, Iran’s Intelligence Ministry announced in a statement on Monday. The group was planning to carry out destructive operations in the provinces of Tehran, Kerman, Isfahan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, Kurdistan, and Mazandaran, the ministry said.  They were identified and arrested by Iran’s intelligence forces, the statement said, adding the heads of the network reside in Denmark and Sweden.

- Iran supports Balkan peace

Ebrahim Raisi, the Iranian president, has voiced his nation’s support for peace, stability, and tranquility in the Balkans, saying Tehran has not seen any barriers to raising the level of ties with the nations in this region. Raisi made the remarks during a meeting on Sunday with Serbian Parliament Speaker Vladimir Orlic in Tehran. Raisi also called for advancement of relations between Iran and Serbia, particularly in industrial and commercial spheres.

- Israel Passes Fascist Law

The occupying regime of Israel was hit by a political earthquake on Monday as MPs passed a law limiting the supreme court’s power, one of a raft of judicial changes critics say are giving prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu draconian powers. Ahead of the vote and after, thousands of protesters in Al-Quds blocked the roads leading to the Knesset, with police using water cannons to remove them. Thousands more gathered in Tel Aviv, with protests expected throughout the night.

- Mossad-Linked Terrorist Network Dismantled

Iran’s intelligence ministry said Monday security forces have disbanded a “large terrorist network” and arrested its members, who were planning to carry out numerous terrorist attacks across Iran. - Raisi: Iran Against Any Geopolitical Change in Caucasus

 President Ebrahim Raisi said here Monday Iran supports the territorial integrity and sovereignty of all regional countries and firmly opposes any geopolitical change in the region. In a meeting with Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, President Raisi said regional issues should be settled by the countries in the region. “Any foreign intervention will only complicate issues. The Islamic Republic of Iran supports the peace talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan and hopes that these talks will establish and strengthen peace and security in the region as much as possible,” he said.
